Visa-Free Countries for Indian Passport Holders

Quick note: When you arrive at a visa-free destination, immigration officials will still check your passport/ID and give you an entry stamp.

Entry Guidelines for Some Popular Visa-Free Destinations

Even when visas aren’t required, most countries still expect basic documents like valid passports, return tickets, proof of accommodation, and sometimes vaccination/health certificates.

Here are the details for a few favourites:

Barbados

  • Stay up to 90 days visa-free.

  • Passport valid for 6 months, return flight, hotel booking, 2 passport photos, last 3 months’ bank statement, and a negative COVID-19 certificate required.

Bhutan

  • Indians don’t need a visa for trips up to 14 days.

  • Entry allowed with either passport or voter ID.

  • Travel permit required if entering by land.

Dominica

  • Up to 6 months stay without visa.

  • Passport, return ticket, stay proof, funds proof, and health certificate required.

Grenada

  • No visa required for short visits.

  • Same requirements: passport (6-month validity), accommodation, funds, photos, health certificate.

Haiti

  • Visa-free stay up to 90 days.

  • Passport, return ticket, stay proof, and health clearance required.

Hong Kong

  • Visa-free entry for 14 days.

  • Mandatory online Pre-Arrival Registration before travelling (not needed if only transiting by air).

Maldives

  • Indians can stay up to 90 days visa-free.

  • Passport, hotel booking, return ticket, funds proof required.

Mauritius

  • Visa-free stay for 90 days.

  • Standard documents needed.

Nepal

  • No visa needed for Indians.

  • Passport or voter ID works for entry.

Niue Island

  • Up to 30 days visa-free.

  • Passport, return ticket, hotel booking required.

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines

  • Indians can visit for up to 30 days without visa.

  • Passport, funds, accommodation proof required.

Samoa

  • Visitor’s permit required (issued on arrival).

  • Passport, return ticket, accommodation proof, vaccination certificate required.

Senegal

  • Visa-free entry up to 90 days.

  • Passport, yellow fever vaccination, and COVID-19 vaccination proof required.

Trinidad & Tobago

  • Visa-free entry for Indians.

  • Passport, return ticket, accommodation, vaccination certificate required.

Montserrat

  • Visa-free for Indians.

  • Passport, return ticket, accommodation proof, vaccination records required.

Seychelles


Note: Serbia used to be on India’s visa-free list, but since January 2023, Indians need a visa to visit.
